About Me
I am an industrial designer based in Vancouver, BC, with a multidisciplinary practice in textiles, woodworking, and metalworking. While my focus is currently on textiles, my work is guided by problem-solving and designing pieces that meet people's needs—whether through thoughtful functionality or playful expression.
I explore textiles' structural and sculptural potential, creating both practical pieces like clothing and bags, as well as expressive gowns that prioritize creativity. Each stitch reflects an exploration of texture, movement, and purpose.
Beyond textiles, I practice woodworking, metalworking, and furniture-making, where precision and craftsmanship are central. From custom furniture to chess boards and jewelry, I enjoy exploring diverse design forms.
While I create small pieces, I’m most motivated by larger-scale projects that challenge my creativity—like designing a modular backpack inspired by desire paths. My work blends practicality with curiosity, always grounded in purpose and care.
For me, design is a generous act, bringing joy through meaningful, functional, and thoughtful creations.
